VINCENT PERNICE, FOUNDER / PRESIDENT
Mr. Pernice started his well accomplished entrepreneurial career during the mid 1970’s in the food and beverage industry where he dealt mostly with local municipalities, the FDA and the EPA. Mr. Pernice has bought, sold and serviced several related businesses during that time while dealing with the likes of the City of New York, Pathmark, Key Foods, Welsch Farms and the National School Lunch Program. Mr. Pernice then turned to the development of new markets for recyclable post-consumer waste materials, which led to his founding of Recycling Concepts where he created the patented Efficiency Crumb Rubber Reduction System. While selling his recycled efficiency products throughout the globe, his innovation in the recycling of waste materials inspired him to form BBR. His career with Bead Brite has been extensively productive while working in conjunction with Columbia University professors conceptualizing the use of recycled glass and other non-toxic waste materials as an additive for industrial, commercial and residential coatings. Non-existent at that time, Mr. Pernice was able to accomplish microscopic particle sizes conducive to spray coatings and other applications never achieved before. To this day, he still remains involved in every facet of the company’s operations and continues to research new avenues to enhance BBR’s growth and innovation.
